This guy called me about a month or two ago, and he said that he was going to send a Police Officer to my house to give me $400. He said that he worked for the IRS, and it was a refund. I told him that I was an actual Police Officer and he was in a world of trouble. He started crying and apologizing. He kept crying "I'm so sorry and I won't do it again!" Then, the other day, I got a voice to text message on my cell phone. He said that his name was "Officer Jason Miller" and if I didn't have my attorney contact him immediately, bad things would happen for me. I called him back at 703-594-5004. He answered the call "IRS". I asked for Officer Jason Miller, and he told me that Officer Miller had passed away. I told him that I was going to report this, and he hung up on me! Why doesn't someone shut him down?!? If the Fraud Section of the Police Department in Virginia go to the address for this land line phone, whoever is using the phone should be arrested. And with all of the complaints made on so many different websites, a Judge should be able to issue arrest warrants for everyone in that office. What's the hold up?!? Maybe we should all just go to the address for this number, and take care of this ourselves!

A person said his name is John Smith. He left a message saying he is an IRS Investigation Chief. He said my property was monitored and I owed money to IRS. He asked me to call back on 202-241-4529. My wife went home and heard the message, immediately called me at work. When I called back that number. Another person named Mike Robinson, also a Chief Investigation (his name is American but has a heavy accent like African English). After a long conversation about money he said that I owe to IRS. He said that there is an arrest warrant and I will be arrested within 25 minutes. I told him that he does not need to come to arrest me. I can come to IRS office to turn myself in but he kept saying that I don't need to do anything. Just stay where I am, so they can come to arrest. I thought it was real; so I had skipped work and go home since I didn't want to be arrested at my work place. When I was at home. I called my city police department about this call and the arrest warranty. A city sent a police officer to my house. At the time, another call with a long number seemed to be from another country. A caller told me exactly that I own a GMC 2007 Acadia. he asked for a mileage on the car and asked for money to be sent if I don't want anything happen. At the time, a police officer at my house asked him to stop calling. Then he started getting upset. A police officer told me hang up and don't answer a call from this number. What a lucky for him. If someone had come to my house to arrest me, then he would be the one to be arrested, not me.

I received phone calls from (202) 864-1156. This is definitely a call from one of the SCAMMERS pretending they are from the IRS. Its a Scam. The caller says they are from the IRS and to call them back regarding a lawsuit. My taxes are done and filed. SCAM ALERT

I got same call this morning...left me a voice mail to call back ...its time sensitive n all crap.....Try to call back by hiding caller ID can't get through all I hear was the recording " ext 3033 is busy please leave message....sorry mail box is full can't take message" ....I called from other number than person with heavy India accent gave me fake IRS agent name and badge num ...I didn't fall for his trap ....beware guys !!! I wish could have find out more about them ...feel so annoyed wanna bit the s##T out of that mofo

I had the misfortune of picking up the phone this morning (caller from San Angelo, Texas, 325-500-0533) when it rang and was stunned beyond disbelief to hear that an arrest warrant was pending against me and I would find myself behind bars in a couple of hours, for 4 counts of tax frauds/evasions/ theft by deception! The names of these evil, miserable creatures who ruined my morning: Officer Rico Lopez who then transferred me to his "superior officer" Tony Williams and they said they were from the "Tax Crime investigation unit of the IRS". Or it could be settled out of court if I would pay them a few thousand dollars through government bonds right away. That was a sure red flag. When I asked the guy how I could be sure if this was legitimate, he got wild and said he will straight send me to jail! My passport would be seized, my bank accounts frozen, and other horrors... I have called and reported this number to my phone provider. Oh and by the way, when I asked how come I never received any notice before, if at all, he said they sent out 2 legal notices last year... lie after lie. Hope they rot in hell, harassing innocent law-abiding people. Folks, please be careful and don't give out any info.

Received a call from a man with a thick foreign accent. Caller didn't specifically say he was from the IRS, but indicated that there was a shortage in my taxes and I or my attorney needed to call immediately to take action. He hinted at jail time.
