You hear a cheap rendition pretending to be authoritive and serious, although quite entertaining by the sheer ignorance put into their message. Call them back...hassle them a little,let them squirm...ask your case reference #,their title,supervisors name & direct line, what Dept. Their in, Take control of the conversation & let them know you own them. They are weak and haven't any concept what so ever on how to answer any of these questions. They have your phone number so do not disclose more than that...if anything you may have your # taken off that list right then...better for you

The man is stating he is Officer Peter Scott on the recording advising I call 206-388-4903. I called the number and spoke with a man who called himself Officer Mark Benson stated I owe $800 from previous 2 years of taxes. He stated I have an warrant out for my arrest. If I agree to make a payment he will cancel the warrant and I will not go to jail. He stated if I hang up the phone the police will come an serve me papers and lock me up and I will be locked up for 3-5 years. After I requested to speak to his boss he became irate and called me all kinds of name. He then hung up the phone. Someone need to stop him.

Received a call from IRS who said it was a tax matter and this was my last chance before having to go to court or get arrested. I returned the call and was told I owe back taxes in excess of $4k. I was given a case number and a file number. She asked if I did this deliberatly or was it a mistake. It was hard to understand here as she had a very thick asian accent. I asked where she was calling from and she hung up.
This is a huge scam. IRS does not contact you by phone and you should never send any money to these scammers by credit card. Once you do that your card number will be used until you run out of credit. I am filing a report with the IRS also.
