TO RESPOND AND SOMEONE WOULD CONTACT ME. GOD BLESS YOU!!! HUNG UP. I DID A *67 AND CALLED BACK SOMEONE PICKED UP, LISTENED AND HUNG UP. *67 RE-DIALED AND THIS TIME I DIDN'T EVEN GET A RING TONE ONLY A HANG-UP. FUNNY THING IS, MY HUSBAND IS RETIRED DISABLED MILITARY AND I AM DISABLED SS. WE DON'T FILE TAXES.

Caller indicated that an arrest warrant had been put out in my name and on my property. I was asked to call the number back, which I did multiple times.
This was obviously a scam, as they did not pick up when I returned the call, additionally an IRS agent would have left a case name and provided some identification information.

Caller reported to be the IRS, attempted to collect back taxes (fraudulent tax returns) they claimed. Asked for $7621.00, or I most likely will go to jail. When I told him he was a scammer, he told me to go "xxxx" myself, and that my wife should do the same. WOW!! For those knowing, the IRS will ALWAYS send you multiple mailings, not phone calls.
Just hang up on these dopes.

Had a very thick Indonesian accent saying I owed $2,000 in taxes from 2009-2014, I told them to verify to me my ss# and they wouldn't and I told them to stop scammer people and they still continued to try and get at least $1k from me and I told them my husband lost his job and that I don't work, then they asked how much can I pay and I told them $1.00 a month.....I think they got the hint that I knew their scamming gig. Funny thing is is that the number they called me on is a number that is not even filed with the IRS!!

This number is from Austin TX, do not give them any information. They will claim that you are being sued by the IRS,however the government would never contact someone in this manner.
This number is label as a scam and should not be contacted.
Block this number and report the message and phone number to your local police department.

I have rec'ed 3 calls from 3 different numbers claiming I owe the IRS back taxes. I called to find out if this was a wrong number for someone else and the women who answered gave me her ID number and said the IRS sent me 3 letters. I started asked her for information and she got upset and said that she will send the sheriffs to my house with a warrant. I said this is a scam and your not even American. she sound like she was from India and hung up. the other numbers are 206-317-7834, 206-395-7893, 202-888-4693, 202-864-2260 three of them all left msg saying you can be put in jail if you don't call. and it sounds like it's government but when you do call it's someone from another country.

I received an automated, prerecorded call from (951) 240-5512 which stated the name and badge number of an IRS agent and that the call was in regards to case number #####. That's when I hung up on the obviously bogus call intended to perpetrate some sort of scam!
