I returned call left on answering machine from IRS. I was asked if I have a defense attorney and if I would be home the next 45' to have sheriff and IRS serve me lawsuit.
When the sheriff didn't show up I called back to find out what happened to him. The "agent" said they probably were stuck in traffic. I told him I needed to leave and he asked where I was going. When I wouldn't say he said "hang up the phone you sh..ty a..hole". Guessing the number is a scam.

They left a robotic message on my phone saying I would be arrested and a lawsuit would be filed against me and I saw hold on and acted like I was in a fire fight in Iraq and my buddy just got shot. They hung up. I called back and another "OFFiCER" answered and I told them it was just a flesh wound and we would go back to killing when I figured out how much I owed. She hung up. Soooo we called back about 10 times until they blocked my number lol. Funniest stuff ever. I do feel bad for the innocent people that fall for this crap.

IRS does NOT contact anyone owing taxes via phone. Best part is, we don't owe any taxes!!!!!!!
Sadly, a LOT of people are heeding what these THUGS are claiming.

The automated caller said I had 4 allegations against me and I had 24 hours to call them back or the local "cops" would pick me up. This is the second call today but from different numbers. The first call was from (347) 637-6194 stating pretty much the same thing. I called that one back just to let them know I was already aware of the "IRS scam" they were pulling. A man with a heavy Indian accent answered and introduced himself as Officer Kevin Jones. When I told him I had already been in contact with the REAL IRS to confirm that I had no violations, he became irate and asked why I was calling him then and not to call back. Hard to believe people actually fall for this scam, it's so not believable!!
