They call every day, at all times of the day. I never answer my cell when I see Private or Unknown.
I called back, once, to see who it was. A guy named James answered. Since I don't know anyone by that name, I just hung up. (My number is blocked so it doesn't show up on their Caller ID.)
I found out it was Trans World Systems by Googling the number.
Any debts I had were 20 yrs. ago and were paid in full. My credit is now in good standing.
I'm not sure how they got my cell number, because it's a Private number.
I really don't want to have to change my cell number. Since I can't make them stop calling, I just don't answer.

Received call yesterday saying I had won one of top 4 prizes after filling out entry form in last 12-18 months.After Googleing Vandell Comm. I found all these sights with posts from people receiving exact same message. Guess it's a scam, folks.

I received a call from Windows Support stating that my computer was reporting errors and needed to be fixed immediately. He needed me to sign on so he could share my computer to solve the issue. When I told him the computer was a laptop and that my husband had it with him, he insisted on calling back later. When I pushed him and said that since this is urgent, I needed his number, he reluctantly gave me his number 213-550-1062. He said his name was James and he had a strong Indian accent.

Received a call today from James claiming to be with 411 Direct Link Business Directory (415-707-0560). James said he had spoke with the president of the company and that the pres referred him to me. James stated that it was time to renew our listing in their directory. When I asked for the company website so I could see what he was talking about, he said there wasn't one, which I thought was odd. James then told me that if I wanted to cancel, I could do right now and would be invoiced later. WHAT?! So, I get billed for renewing AND for cancelling??? That makes no sense! James continued to say - no, no, it doesn't cost anything to cancel, we just bill you one more invoice. That's when I told him this doesn't sound legit and that everything he was telling me sounded like a scam, and I hung up with him. Please watch out for these type of scams!!!! If you don't recognize the company name, and especially if they can't give you a website to look at, HANG UP!!! Do not say "yes" to anything!!!

This guy that called had a very thick accent and he stated that I owed this payday loan company $800 and I need to pay his company or he would send to the courts and I would have to pay $5000. He said that payday loan company is AACA, which I have nver heard of. I told him never to call my work again and hing up.
