This guy that called had a very thick accent and he stated that I owed this payday loan company $800 and I need to pay his company or he would send to the courts and I would have to pay $5000. He said that payday loan company is AACA, which I have nver heard of. I told him never to call my work again and hing up.

Received a call today from James claiming to be with 411 Direct Link Business Directory (415-707-0560). James said he had spoke with the president of the company and that the pres referred him to me. James stated that it was time to renew our listing in their directory. When I asked for the company website so I could see what he was talking about, he said there wasn't one, which I thought was odd. James then told me that if I wanted to cancel, I could do right now and would be invoiced later. WHAT?! So, I get billed for renewing AND for cancelling??? That makes no sense! James continued to say - no, no, it doesn't cost anything to cancel, we just bill you one more invoice. That's when I told him this doesn't sound legit and that everything he was telling me sounded like a scam, and I hung up with him. Please watch out for these type of scams!!!! If you don't recognize the company name, and especially if they can't give you a website to look at, HANG UP!!! Do not say "yes" to anything!!!
