Been receiving several calls today (June 9, 2014) from this number. Based on the previous posts about this number, I am quite certain it is a scam.
Scams are abundant, even from scammers in the USA. Technology makes robocalling a significant nuisance for anyone. The Do Not Call registry is ignored, but the best way to stop a scammer is to not answer your phone when one is calling you. If you don't answer your phone the robocall machine cannot verify that yours is an active number.
