"David" indicated that I was selected for a prize (Global Xchange) which sounded like a timeshare marketing scam. First mistake, he used the wrong number for that stuff. He claimed that a friend/family member provided him with my contact info (not possible). In exchange, he provided a fake telephone number and email address. Spent 15 min talking to him, and he told me I was wasting his time....nice. I didn't know my psychokinetic powers were so effective that I could get him to call me just so I could "waste his time".

I think he provided too much information (second mistake). I suggest that if you are called by anyone from "global exchange" you take your time to interview them, and collect as much info as possible and post it here. We will aggregate the info and take care of these scammers. Please use a friendly tone, and get them to volunteer what they like about the company they are trying to sell you on. How long have they worked there, why does the number appear to be coming from where it is, how's the weather, etc, etc, etc. Post any fax, email, or address info that he volunteers. This guy is not very smart. He has slipped and will make more mistakes. Then he will be ours.
