I have been receiving phone calls from multiple numbers claiming I owe them on an old payday loan account. The initial calls were from random cell phone numbers and 800 numbers. All leaving a different number to call back. They were threatning me with jail and "fraud" charges...etc... I researched EVERY number and all but the cell numbers were associated with Richard Shum. I read several posts online about complaints. At that time I called the company I had a loan with several years ago. They let me know that THIS IS A SCAM! They are working with the FCC and others in regards to this scam company. They said not to speak with them and not to send them ANY money. This was on Friday. Today (Tuesday) I just received a call from 212-201-0722 and they identified themselves as being with Richard Shum's office. All the research I did pointed to that company name...now I have the "proof"! I was informed by the company that I had the loan with to take all of this information to my local police department. Now that I have everything in order with it....I'm doing exactly that!
