The easy way to get rid of calls like this is to sign up for an invite to join Google Voice. That service will give you another phone number you start giving out instead. Google Voice allows you to redirect incoming calls based on several variables, eg between 8am-4pm I want all calls sent to voicemail except contacts belonging in my "Family" group. The same principle applies in this situation. Create a contact group call "Spam".... or as I did... "A***oles" that always goes directly to a custom voice mail for that group/individual, in my case a message saying "Kiss My A**". Another nice feature is that you can choose to have voice mail transcribed and then receive them in a text message or read them online.

I already have an account because I signed up for the beta program a long time ago.

The URL where you sign up for an invite is

Have a nice day!
