My guess is these are the same spammers posting fake crap on the free section of Craigslist and then sending tons of spam. When you post something for sale, you get inquiries and in order to avoid the spammers, you give your number and tell them to call if they are seriously interested... yeah, so now they are calling with more scams over the phone. Ridiculous! What remedy do we have for this type of crap???
Other callers... have you place items for sale online and given out your phone number?? Just want to know if my hunch is correct.
