I got several calls from this number last week, no message left on the answer machine. Picked up the call a couple of days ago - female on the line asked to speak to "the person who pays the gas bill in the household. She said she was calling regarding a government program that allows gas customers to buy their gas at wholesale prices, saving them money. I told her that I could not talk at that time, asked for her name and telephone number: "Tara Battle," telephone # 269-430-8010.
I immediately went on my gas company's website and emailed the Customer Service Department. They responded to my email within 30 minutes, advising that they were not aware of any such "wholesale gas" program. THIS IS A SCAM!
