Left a msg on my parents phone representing themselves as the IRS, indicating my parents owed money to the IRS and should return their call ASAP. My Mother, who is elderly, but smart, called them back. She talked to a man that was very, very rude. She told him that theybdid not owe any taxes and she would NOT send them in $1300.00. The man became irritated with her and then told her "then you will be arrested tomorrow morning". My Mother DID NOT give this guy any of their personal information. When she hung up the phone she called H&R Block. They told her it was a scam. I then advised her to call her local phone compnay. They blocked this phone number to prevent any future phone calls coming to my parents from it. Next I advised her to call their local Police Dept. A report has been filed. If future calls are made to my parents the Poluce Department will further their investigation. She will be calling the real IRS office tomorrow morning to make them aware of the scam. Please beware of calls from this number it is a scam. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!
