Then the woman had the NERVE to not state the nature of her business, but ask for my social security number to be verified.
Even if I had business dealings with the company in the past, the fact that the caller ID showed nothing, I would NEVER verify my social security number to ANYONE unless I called them myself from a number of some company that I have already made an agreement with.
NEVER TALK PERSONAL BUSINESS with a company who calls you. Even if you recognize their name as someone you do business with. Instead ask to call them back to VERIFY WHO THEY ARE.
