Keep in mind you are not obligated to provide any info at all to D&B - simply decline any or all question you are not comfortable with. I am not sure how to verify if it's legit D&B or someone phishing for info ... if you ask the caller for each question to tell you what they already have on file FIRST then you can confirm if it's still valid. The info she had was mostly already public knowledge, so I am still not convinced. When starting to ask specifics about employees and income, I shut it down.
