Guy called me today. Had a thick Indian accent. Said I was being charged with fraud on a banking institution and theft for a pay day loan I owed money on. Said that the case was supposed to go to court on Friday and that if I was unable to be there or make payment arrangements I would be arrested. I actually do have an outstanding payday loan so this REALLY scared me. I actually went to the store to purhase the greendot money card he told me I needed. The nice lady in the store explained about scammers. So glad she did, cause I got home and googled the number he called me from and sure enough it was a scam
