I spoke to someone at the Network Operations Center, and they asked me to send an eMail to abuse@o1.com and include:
- The phone number that called you.
- The time & date you were called.
- The number that was called -- if it's a cell phone, make sure you mention that -- telemarketing calls to cell phones are a big no-no.
- Describe the purpose of the call (pre-recorded telemarketing call)
- If you're in Canada, include this sentence:
"The Canadian Do Not Call list is being abused by US-based telemarketers because the Canadian Telecom Regulator (CRTC) cannot sanction US-based companies -- and I cannot sign up for the US Do Not Call list because I'm outside the USA."
PLEASE BE POLITE. These folks are a telecom reseller, and it's their customer that is harassing you.
