Called continuously for a week, and since I was at work I could not answer. They would never leave a message so I called the number back to try to figure out who it was. Claimed to be a debt collection company but would not provide me with any of the debt information or documentation but wanted a credit/debit card or bank account information to pay off the debt. I believe this is a scam because when I asked for documentation they refused to provide me with anything just kept asking for account information. I am unaware of any debts during the time frame they are indicating and when I asked why, after 5 years they were just barely contacting me and why this debt never showed up on my credit report, they indicated they didn't report it and I just need to pay it. Sounds fishy to me. They finally quit calling when I told them they were a fraud if they couldn't provide me with proof of the debt.
