I have received two calls from this number claiming to be Verizon Wireless asking for confirmation of my identity. "If this is [name] (spanish) please press 1."
I called them back and there was actual Verizon hold music. A girl answered the phone with, "can I have your name?" No anouncement of who she was, or the organization she was with. I questioned the authenticity of the number and the girl who answered the phone offered to put me back on hold so I could verify (by the hold music) that they were actually Verizon... Sure, let me whip up some hold music so you can verify my identity.
