This company, Asset Acceptance Capital Corp. purchases bad debts and collects via calling. Their system calls you and waits for a human to answer and only then (sometimes) connects you with one of 50 people in a 10x10 room.....a bill collector. If you have a relatively new phone number odds are you're being called as the previous owner of the number you have is a deadbeat. Plain and simple. And ........the "new" phone number you have could have been in use as little as 30 days ago.....the phone company doesn't give a rat's ass about you....they just want your money...and PS....as soon as you got your "new" phone number, your phone company sold your name and address to more than 200 (yes 200) companies....all looking for new home owners.......that's why the phone company never asks you if you live in an apartment or an individual home....that way they can sell all the numbers.....claiming "we don't know if it's an apartment"... So there you have it.....
