Caller ID has nothing to do with where the call is comming from.
This was my number, it has now been disconnected. Scammers are spoofing the number onto the caller ID when they make calls. This resulted in thousands of calls to my house. Literally my phone didn't stop ringing for two week while I tried to get the FCC, AT&T and others to help. One thing I learned Caller ID has nothing to do with where the call is comming from and there is nothing the FCC or apparently anyone can do about it.
