This morning, August 20, 2014, I received an automated call on my cell phone allegedly from Barclays Credit Services saying that my Barclay's Master Card might have been compromised. I have two Masters Cards. After checking with both companies and learning that neither had initiated such a call, I tried to reach the 855-926-9421 number and got a recording that that number is no longer in service. Both legitimate credit card companies told me that the call I had received must have been a scam. I'm taking appropriate action with my credit cards.
