These scammers ask for personal info or even just the name of the person answering is sufficient for them to send you a bill for "Internet Yellow Pages" authorized by the person who answered. They will tell you that it was recorded and harass you daily for weeks. Sometimes, they have been able to obtain the business bank account number (representing themselves as callers from your bank) and will collect directly from your bank.
My suggestion is to record them when they call and notify the Dept. of Justice, FCC or any other pertinent agency, until sufficient reports are logged that will motivate them to go after these criminals.
