I got the same phone call, promising me $2.5 million and a Mercedes Benz for paying my bills on time. This oriental sounding person wanted $500 up front because "as you see on television" that is the way they do it. I told him I was not paying anything up front and if they wanted me to have the prize, then they would have to award it to me and then I'd pay the taxes. I then hung up. I'm so relieved to find this scam as this person, who was very hard to understand because of his heavy accent in the first message, knew my phone number and address even though my address is not listed in the phone book. Be careful!
