I had a message on my cell phone today from a Mr. Meyers stating that information has been obtained under my name and social security number. Federal law prohibits him from leaving any details. The matter is time sensitive and I or my legal counsel should call this number.
It was a suspicious message since the caller did not identify a company nor did he address me by name. Thankfully I found many complaints about this number on line confirming my suspicion. I certainly will not call back to assist them by giving them any information to defraud me. Who can investigate these suspicious numbers?
