Same here, I received a call by a person identifying himself as Officer Mike White of the I.R.S. who stated that he had a warrant for my arrest. He had a heavy accent of Indian decent and I could hardly understand him. If any law enforcement agency has a warrant for your arrest, the last thing that they are going to do is call you to give you ample time to escape. Also, any I.R.S. business is usually done through correspondence first. When the person who receives the message calls back the caller, the caller usually has caller ID and that's how he or she tries to intimidate you into giving additional personal information about yourself. "BE WARE" never give out personal information to anyone over the phone. If a law enforcement agency is looking for you, believe me they will know where to find you sooner or later. I don't think this person is going to call me back anymore after what I told him what he could do with his warrant. However, he may give my number to other scammers. I'll be waiting with a another friendly response.
