Received a text message to my cell phone. Says it was a Verizon Suspension Notice from phone 432-813-5626. Message was: Update account registration details to avoid service cancellation. Along with a bogus URL (Googled it..) http:..2ll.me/Verizon404551. Was signed Verizon Customer Support. Some online research indicates it came from a Texas airport terminal. Go figure. Will be contacting Verizon today. Haven't seen anything like this on the Internet so this may be a new wrinkle. Interesting since Verizon is in CT.
