The phone call is from Canadian Pharmacy, a fraudulent business that will change its telephone numbers at least once or twice per month. The telephone calls can appear to originate from any state. The telemarketer will try to convince you that you have ordered medications from them in the past and attempt to obtain an order from you. Of course, they want your credit card number so they can commit fraud. You will always be able to hear other cacophonous voices in the background because the telephone calls are originating from a large telemarketing location and the people are extremely close together. You will easily hear other people's names being discussed in the background.
Most of the telemarketers, and on some days all of the telemarketers, will have English accents from South Asia--either Indian or Pakistani. These people are obnoxious, will not take "no" for an answer, and laugh when you tell them not to call again.

The Canadian Pharmacy calls me at least once a day from some number I've been unable to block. There have been other numbers. They never leave a message but if you pick up they reverse connect you to a live operator in a manner that looks like they use an auto dialing computer with a database.
Calls come anytime from 7:00AM to 8:30pm for over 5 years now.
This is harassment, Canada pharmacy calls all day starting at 9am and up to 10pm eastern. When I ask them to stop calling they laugh.

Don't bother with the do not call list. They are not calling from the US. You'll never get rid of them, other than changing your phone number. Your number is in a database, the person calling you has no idea that you'll never order from them in a million years.
You can block their number,,which I do, but then they will call from a different one. I now, never answer my phone unless i have a good idea who might be calling, if it's important they'll leave a message.
If I'm bored, I will mess with them in a number of ways, like giving the phone to my 4yr old...

I am on the Do Not Call list However this number repeatedly calls me, knows my name, and is asking to update my credit card information to send me medicine. They never leave a message and the two times they called I told them they sure didn't sound Canadian and insisted they were calling from Toronto. When I tell them that I want their full information or that they've been reported or that they are scammers trying to get money, they hang up. Yet they keep calling. They are a true danger with the credit card numbers.
