Personally I hope the FAA deals with pilots who get DUI cnonictiovs harshly. Drunk driving is a serious offense that puts the general public at great risk. Thousands of people die each year due to the irresponsible behavior of people who choose to drink to excess and then get behind the wheel. Commercial pilots responsible for the lives of 100 s of people each time they fly must be held to a higher standard than the average Joe. It's OK to have a fun night out and drink too much. But DON'T GET BEHIND THE WHEEL take a taxi home.
