Personally I hope the FAA deals with pilots who get DUI cnonictiovs harshly. Drunk driving is a serious offense that puts the general public at great risk. Thousands of people die each year due to the irresponsible behavior of people who choose to drink to excess and then get behind the wheel. Commercial pilots responsible for the lives of 100 s of people each time they fly must be held to a higher standard than the average Joe. It's OK to have a fun night out and drink too much. But DON'T GET BEHIND THE WHEEL take a taxi home.

I just got a call from 888-514-7411 Domain Registration fuc on my cell. A very long pause then a woman running trouhgh a script about a domain name that I had stopped paying for years ago asked me for my fax number. When I told her I did not have one and wanted to use my email she tried a few times to talk, but I cut her off mid sentence and gave her my spam fested email. Which is retrospect is probably a bad thing, confirming that I infact answer this phone number. I've been getting mailings from the domain reneval places as well, usually just discarding them. Next time I'm gonna say that the person who had this phone number before just died! And possibly give them the FBI fax# Cheers. Thanks for the post.

I had a friend who got a DUI who was a pilot at one of the big aienrlis. He did have to alert the FAA and they proceeded to do an assessment of his problem. If the assessment turns out bad, they will require treatment. If it seems like an isolated event, probably not. The first time is not usually fatal to a pilot career, but repeat DUIs will probably end a pilot's career.

I just received a phone call from this copmnay, and was home to receive it. As others have said, I was asked to confirm my address in relation to a hardly used domain I've owned for a year or so (not the one linked from my name, I hasten to add).I asked the individual phoning (who had an Asian accent, Chinese if I had to guess I was raised in Hong Kong and am fairly familiar with such accents) whether he was with my domain registrar, and he said that no, he wasn't. I informed him he had no business contacting me, and hung up on him.As suggested here, I've reported the copmnay to the FTC. I'd report them to the BBB as well, but there's no listing for them.As an aside, the address listed in Knoxville, TN is almost certainly fake. I live in Knoxville myself, and did a little digging. There's no North Bend Drive in Knoxville, nor anything like it. There's a Northbend Circle in Alcoa, TN but that's in a totally different zip code.

They have been calling 5 ties a day for 5 days (Cec 18-22). Call comes from a computer. Routes you to an Indian call center. Heavly accented person presses you hard to accept their "free" package", which is not free. It is harrassment and people are tired of it.
