I received the same voicemail and returned the call. I wouldn't provide my name but they matched my name and address based on my cell number that they had left the message on. When I told them we had received no letters or notifications the caller became upset and said the IRS would come and arrest me. I said that was fine and hung up.
We have never received a real notification from the IRS. Definitely a scam, he wanted me to settle my claim for over $4,000 over the phone. Yeah... right.
