Presumably calling to let me know that a lawsuit is being filed against me by the IRS. I did not return a call to them at the number 202-864-1217. Glad I checked here and saw this is a bogus call. I do wish the IRS had a specific phone number to check the legitimacy of these calls. It is extremely difficult to actually talk to anyone at the IRS, and this particular problem is not among the menu options. I have been on hold almost an hour to try and reach a person rather than a phone menu.
