ROBO voice basically said ... "This is the IRS calling and you have failed to contact us regarding a pending lawsuit. Call 202-864-1217 for further details."
I could not find any connection of this phone number to the IRS.
I did read that IRS would first attempt to contact you by mail and eventually, by sending an agent to your address if you do not respond.
We have all ways been completely above board and honest on all of our business dealings and tax filings and we are certain this a scam and fraud.

They left phone message saying the IRS was filing suit and that I should call the number. I called and they claimed to be the IRS and said I owed money. They had my phone number, name (at least first name) and address. They did not have my social security number. I called back a few times and found out they are from Pakistan. They want people to pay by purchasing a money pack from CVS and uploading the information to them.

received a call from 935-566-3641 and they left a message on my voicemaito call the IRS, that they are filing a lawsuit against me and for me to call:202-864-1217...guess what the IRS will NOT call you they send out letters, not just one and eventually send out an Agent....
this is a SCAM, DO NOT CALL THEM BACK! they want access to your phone along with personal information from you!

Presumably calling to let me know that a lawsuit is being filed against me by the IRS. I did not return a call to them at the number 202-864-1217. Glad I checked here and saw this is a bogus call. I do wish the IRS had a specific phone number to check the legitimacy of these calls. It is extremely difficult to actually talk to anyone at the IRS, and this particular problem is not among the menu options. I have been on hold almost an hour to try and reach a person rather than a phone menu.
