I believe this is a social engineering scam. A call from a fake cs rep from comcast to confirm an appointment. But you had not set up an appointment in the first place. When you try to cancel, the scammer will ask about certain info leading to identity theft or credit card theft. I called a legit comcast number and they dont have that 855 number. The rep said he woud investigate and report the number if necessary.
