I received a call from a representative claiming to be from Chase, as well. She asked for my loan number and when I couldn't give it to her, she asked me for my SSN. I refused because I had no way to identify her and she said she would need to disconnect the call. I called Chase customer service directly and they contacted this number and were able to verify that Gail is a genuine Chase Recovery Team representative.
