received a text message from 61997711@rr.com "(Chase ImportantMessage. Call (805)539-1446) I called the number and said there was a card security issue. Since I had used my card in a place I don't usually use, I though Chase was confirming it was okay. Sure enough they ask to enter your social number and I just did, then they asked for the card number but fortunately I could not find my card so I just hung up. Called next day from home and when I saw it was from Atascadero I just got suspicious. There is a prison there! I called Chase and sure enough they have not called at all. Next, I will have to monitor my credit reports. What a hassle.

I got a text message on phone # 330-619-0541 the 2 day in a row. On 1/23/2013 it was for Wells Fargo about getting a loan. On 1/24/2013 it was for Chase getting a loan. I am on the national do not call and text list for telemarketing and scan company. Please stop text me about this dumb shit.

You recommend sending the Caller a "cease and desist" letter, but how can I get an address for them? Do I send it to the collection agency, or, in my case, Chase Bank? Who do I address it to, since I believe to send a registered letter it must have a person's name on it, or at least a title of a job position.
Also, if I have been ignoring the calls, but then call them back from my home phone, does that just help them to confirm that they have a good number?

I received a call from a representative claiming to be from Chase, as well. She asked for my loan number and when I couldn't give it to her, she asked me for my SSN. I refused because I had no way to identify her and she said she would need to disconnect the call. I called Chase customer service directly and they contacted this number and were able to verify that Gail is a genuine Chase Recovery Team representative.

This number reads "Chase Survey" on caller id. They had called for the last few days (no message and no answer when calling back) so I decided to answer and see what it was about. The person said it was a survey on behalf of Chase and not a sales call. I decided to proceed and would hang up if they seemed to ask anything I had an issue with. He asked if I had visited a branch recently (I had), so I said yes. He then asked if I had visited XXX branch (which was the exact branch I had visited a few days ago), so I said yes. On a side note, this made the call seem much more legitimate since they knew the exact branch I had been to. He then asked me to rate how satisfied I was with my visit there on a scale of 1 to 10. Then he asked me questions about if I had gone in for a teller or other issue, and again asked me to rate 1 to 10 on those interactions. At no time did he ask me anything account specific or for any of my personal information. The entire call took less than 5 mins. I then decided to call my banker and he said that Chase has been calling customers to take surveys on the visits they had to the branch, but could not tell me if this was the number they called from, but said it sounded like what he would expect on a call like that. I told her i dont have account with chase or any affiliate cards they offer but to pull up my name to see if someone else had account using under my name. This black woman (I have a good ethnic dialect decoder) then asked for my SS# to do this. HAAAAAH. I told her she was crazy. 100% bona fide SCAM!!!!!

I asked her why and she said it's because my neighbor needs to pay a big amount of debt. I told her it's none of my business then hung up. She tried calling me again after a couple of minutes.
