Received a call from this number telling me that my Bank of America card has bee deactivated. It then prompted me to enter my 16-digit card number to activate it. Problem 1: I don't have a BofA account. Problem 2: they called me on my work cell phone which number I don't provide for personal business.

9/2/14 Same as JJR's comments. Got text message said to call this number BoA important message. Called it, robo said my BoA debit card had been limited and to press 1 to reactivate by debit card now. I don't have a BoA debit card. Hung up.

Voice mail message left for me by name was from someone calling herself Monique from Bank of America, saying this is not a sales call, but to return the call at my earliest convenience. She said she could be reached at 800-688-7783. Received a similar call to this several months ago -- it is not Bank of America.

Relentless calls demanding my SS# before they would tell me what the call was about. 5-15 calls everyday including Sunday. I missed a payment in error and when I tried to speak with them about it they just bullied me and insulted me.Incredibly rude and mean people. No wonder the public won't talk to these banks that thinks they are above the law.
