Caller is stating they are trying to collect a debt from 2000. Supposedly sent 13 letter to that effect, but just now calling..makes no sense. Saying the original company has been bought out several times so we probably just threw them out as junk mail, so they are trying to get a "contract agreement" for payment, and now seem to be avoiding sending proof of debt saying they aren't going to any further expense. The only other expense would be a copy of the debt and a 44 cent stamp. If I owe anyone or anything, I will send that to the original debtor.. not this caller. This has to be a scam. Also, they give you the number 877-704-9457 to call them back, but when they called it came from 843-278-0375 which is registered to Amanda Meeks in Myrtle Beach, SC.

They have called my work and my home even when I have told them to stop calling. Due to the Fair Credit Act once they are advised not to call it is illegal to call.

A female called and asked for me when I stated that I was speaking she quickly transfered me to some guy. He gets on the phone and starts yelling at me about some debt I owe and how he is going to transfer my account to the IRS. I laughed and hung up the phone. That was a crazy conversation. Especially the fact that he was yelling at me like I was his child.
