This is part of the IRS scam that has been going around for over 1 year now. These are not really the IRS and there is no law suit or tax evasion case against you. I am a licensed tax professional and I can guarantee you this is not the Internal Revenue Service. Please see attache from the "real" Internal Revenue Service: Following the emergence of new variations of widespread tax scams, the Internal Revenue Service today issued another warning to taxpayers to remain on high alert and protect themselves against the ever-evolving array of deceitful tactics scammers use to trick people.
These schemes – which can occur over the phone, in e-mails or through letters with authentic looking letterhead – try to trick taxpayers into providing personal financial information or scare people into making a false tax payment that ends up with the criminal.
The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) has received reports of roughly 600,000 contacts since October 2013. TIGTA is also aware of more than 4,000 victims who have collectively reported over $20 million in financial losses as a result of tax scams.
“We continue to see these aggressive tax scams across the country,” IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said. “Scam artists specialize in being deceptive and fooling people. The IRS urges taxpayers to be extra cautious and think twice before answering suspicious phone calls, emails or letters.”
Scammers posing as IRS agents first targeted those they viewed as most vulnerable, such as older Americans, newly arrived immigrants and those whose first language is not English. These criminals have expanded their net and are now targeting virtually anyone.

Caller claimed to be with the IRS and rushed through her (undoubtedly fake) name and "badge number" too quickly for me to catch. She then claimed that there is an arrest warrant out for me and started to tell me how I could resolve my "unpaid debt". I stopped her right there and demanded that she repeat her name, so that I could report her to the police and/or FBI. She got all huffy, told me that I would go to jail, and then hung up.
Common scammer routine. Just block the number after you mess with her for awhile like I did.

I received this call this morning and it is a woman robot voice I listened to it twice and it says " we been trying to reach you which is false this was first call iv received then goes on to say it IRS and that Internal Revenue Service filing a lawsuit against u and repeats the number 2 before it hangs up it just seem a little shady and blunt to me and seems after Google number looks like scam artist who contacted others it seems.

Received the robocall at 6:30 am stating they were the IRS and a lawsuit had been filed against me. This is a violation of Federal law, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 43, ss 912, "...falsely assumes or pretends to be an officer or employee acting under the authority of the United States or any department, agency or officer thereof..."
Please file a complaint with the Treasury Dept at www.tigta.gov and the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.gov
This is the first step in removing these parasites from causing harm to the elderly or unsuspecting individuals, it only takes a couple of minutes to do it.
