He said the IRS and Homeland Security would arrest me unless I send him $1,950 from Western Union yet tonight. He said they were watching my home. He sounded like he was from Nigeria or some foreign country as he was very hard to understand. He said they would handcuff me yet tonight and I would be in prison for at least 72 hours and then deported by HomeLand Security. I was born here and to put it mildly this is a terrible scam trying to prey on people who may be immigrants.

These people call people and persuade them to give them money, stating that they are the IRS. Anybody knows the IRS will never call you by phone & will only send you information via mail.

, I would first let the patient talk, there is nothnig worse than trying to explain something to an irate person when they feel you have interrupted them. After a slight pause I would go on to commonly explain the situation to the patient or family member. I might even explain the process of how we do things; sometimes people are scared and angry because they do not know how things work, so it is important to educate them. I would consider a slight smile depending on the situation, so that the patient or family member becomes more relaxed and comfortable with me, I would also use a “sweet” tone of voice. In my past customer service experiences I find that I sound much happier when I put a smile on my face. I would also look the patient or family members in the eyes while speaking and listening to them because nothnig says, “I don’t care” than someone looking around pretending they have somewhere to be. This could make the patient or family member very anxious and increase their anger. When dealing with anyone, verbal cues are very important to pay attention to. You can asses your next step off of their actions and create a plan that could calm them down.

No he didn't. I had a really hard time understanding him due to his horrible language skills. I asked him an ID number and he rambled off about 4 numbers. I told him that that is not a correct ID number and the next time they call me I will press charges against them.
Every US citizen knows that the IRS will not contact you via phone. They only send any notifications via mail.
I am soo frustrated that these assholes continue to be in operation.
So people do not give them any personal information

I could not make it to the phone in time to pick it up, so called back in case it was work...(on call this week). The person who answered said they were with the Internal Revenue Service and that the IRS was suing me for back taxes....and that they had sent me several certified letters, but said I was not at home to receive them. When asked for what address they were sending the letter to, they responded with an OLD address and preceded to tell me the Sheriff was coming for me....when I advised that I would be right here waiting for the Sheriff to knock on the door....the caller then asked me if I wanted him to "fornicate" with me. He repeated the comment and when asked to please spell out the words he had just solicited me with, he indeed spelled the "F WORD".

Same number referencenced about tax evasion. I had two voice mails in one day saying I was instructed to call the number 352-453-5716. The individual stated I called the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) investigation department. I knew this was a scam or misrepresented call so when I asked who I was talking to,
he said "officer Kevin Nash" however the foreign (India) accent was difficult to understand. When I said I was having trouble understanding him he hung up.

I received a call on my home voicemial, which was cut-off at the beginning but the message ended saying "a lawsuit will be filed, call 804-528-6062 immediately". I called the following day, to get "Officer Cary" who first got the phone number to identify me and proceeded to say that I owe $5500 to the IRS for taxes 2010, 2011 and 2012 the "Tax Circle" did not match and there was a miscalculation on my part and I am out of time for a plan. All accounts, property will be frozen/seized, a officer will be dispatched to my home to arrive in 45 minutes. Officer Cary asked if I was going to fight or resolve this issue." I choose fight and tried to get more info from him and he then kept asking me if I had the money and the minimum I could pay today was $2000, I said to him I thought I didn't have any other plan, then he kept asking "Do You Have the Money, are You Going to Pay?" "Don't waste my time any longer". At this point, I asked to speak with a manager and he kept repeating and saying the same about paying the amount. I later said, I have nothing else to say...have a great day and hung up. Please be careful and pass this on to your family and friends.
