Scam which provides you with lots of 'confirmation numbers' to claim your '$1 Million Prize'. I didn't call them back, but apparently you have to give them cash up front 'for taxes'. PCH never gives advance warning; they just show up.

COLD CALLED ME 2014-03-31-1556-EDT ALL THE WAY FROM A JAMAICAN PREFIX TO NOTIFY ME THAT I WON 975K IN THE PUBLISHERS CLEARING HOUSE SWEEPSTAKES THAT I DID NOT EVEN ENTER :)
THIS SCAMMER ASKED ME TO CALL 876-460-8015 TO ARRANGE FOR SAME DAY DELIVERY OF A PACKAGE.

This guy calls and says that we have won $2.7 million dollars and a red Mercedes from the PCH. He is all excited and says that the news crew and other people will be visiting our home for photographs, etc. The only thing is that I have to visit a CVS, Dollar General, or one of other listed stores to purchase a "money pack scratch off card" or what is otherwise known as a "green dot card" for a certain amount of money, in this case $299.00. He called me 12 times!!!! Meanwhile, I called the police and they told me it was a very large scam in this area and an officer would be coming by to take a statement. The scammer was still on the phone when the police officer showed up and the police officer actually got to talk to the man!!!! Just remember the "old rule"... if it costs you something to win something, it probably is a scam!

Just got a call from the Jamaican guy this morning. He said I needed to go buy a green dot money card, which he kept re referring to as a "registration card". Thus along with two forms of bald I.d. would be presented at the time of receiving a check and a new car. He said he was David Turner from PCH.

This Jamaican guy just called my sons cell phone number and told him he won 2.5 million from Publishers Clearing House. When my son told he to go to hell he was not falling for this scam the guy threatened to burn down his house and kill his family, even provided our address which he does not live at. Caller stated he was with Publisher's Clearing House. He said I had won 6.9million dollars and a Mercedes. He instructed me to go Walgreens and purchase a $505 green dot paper card and give him the numbers on it. He called back 3x's and even put his "supervisor" on the phone. He kept urging me to give him my address. He was very persistent until I told him I was unable to get that much cash in the 15mins he gave me to do so.

They say that I've won a major prize of $350,000 & a SUV. They said that some money was for processing, getting an american golden stamp, and registerating the SUV. Unfortunitly I found out a little late. I sent them some money, then I found out they are scammers. If you look up the number it will be from Kingston. JAMAICA. I made a police report and called P.C.H. BEWARE of numbers 876-488-1722 &876-466-6441.

Real person called my cell. Poor connection. Something about Publishers Clearing House. No doubt a SCAM since I've never submitted any entries & VERY few people have my private cell #. BLOCKED the number from cell ph. (VERIZON allows up to 5 numbers blocked for Free, valid for 90 days.) This is the 2nd number I've (EVER) had to block & both were from 876/Jamaica. 1st one was 5/30/12.

Scam call from "Publishers Clearing House" (impersonating) stating my mom had won second prize of 860,000 dollars and giving a claim number. The person who called claimed that they needed a western union check sent to them for $300.00 to claim the prize. So to claim the prize they said there would be someone coming by to deliverer the prize check but first she was to go to a local UPS store to send a money gram. Beware of this scam and report it to your local police to file a complaint, do not return any calls to this phone number because you will be charged a large dollar amount for place the call.
