called me and told me that he worked for the US government,and that i had some money waiting,well first of all the government will not call you and tell you you got some grant money waiting the will notify you by mail, second this is done by the US department of Treasury wich the caller claiming that he works for the GOV did not know , so i told him to stay on the line (to mess with him)and after about 20 second i let him talk again and i interrupted him and asked him so you work for the GOV he replayed what and i asked again you work for the GOV and he hung up

Called and said I would receive a grant for $9,000 and to call this number and speak to a Viola Kuy. They didn't know my last name but had by cell phone and address. This is a scam as I read on another site that someone else received the same call and they called and spoke to Viola who wanted them to send in $265 dollars so they could send them the $9,000.
just hang up if you get this call.

Had a thick India/Middle eastern accent. Said I was awarded a $5700 grant from the government and to avoid people out there that scam people I was to go to Walmart or Walgreens to get a "green dot" card and put $160 on it then extend the credit to 6000 and I would get my money. I said I don't have 160 (I lied) and they said they would do it for $80. I refused. They had my address too....scary
