This call came through my cellphone. I do not answer calls not listed in my phone book. If they really want to get ahold of me they'll leave a message. They didn't leave one but I was curious as I remembered that I sent out a job resume, so I called the number and Answered WN Positions and said I applied online for a online...which I did not. I hung up immediately.

My phone rang. The called ID showed it was an instate call. I didn't recognize it but answered because I thought it may have some thing to do with an family member. I said hello twice and got no answer. I waited awhile then called the number but blocked mine. A message from Chris at WN Positions talking about a job prospect that "I was interested in". That is totally untrue. It has to be a scam of some type.

While they did not leave a message, I did call them back and found It is a career placement agency. A recording said I had recently inquired online about job opportunities (which is true). You can press 1 to speak to someone about positions or to be removed, you can press 9 and you will be asked to enter your phone number to be removed from their database. So I pressed 1 to see what it would do. i got one of those recordings that ask questions. They wanted to know my name, address, birthday - I wouldn't give the month & day, just the year & they hung up on me. At the beginning of the the questions, they said "Hi, Im Chris from Employment Group. I googled it. If you go to EmploymentGroup.com - it says "We apologize for those of you who are receiving robo-calls from a company named WN Positions. Please know that EmploymentGroup is in no way affiliated with WN Positions . . ." SO - THIS IS NOT A LEGIT CALLER!

They called my cell phone using the number 706-403-2418. I answered and there was a pause before I said hello. He said it was about a survey. I simply hung up and blocked the number.

I have spoke to both "Joseph" and "Chris" from this company. I got calls about a month ago from them and now they've started again. Sometimes they seem so animated, but sometimes it's hard to tell because they actually react if I say something ridiculous. I made one apologize for hanging up on me. I can ignore the phone calls, but I would like to know how they got my number, being as I use a pay-as-you-go cell phone.

If you call back and you want to be removed from list it tells you to enter your phone number. DO NOT DO THAT. It does not remove your number from the "list".

I received a call from phone number 646-741-0172, and the automated [male] voice greeting identified himself as WN Positions and claimed that "while online I indicated that I am interested in job opportunities" (which is absolutely untrue)then forwarded/transferred the call to a person who identified their company as Employment Group (an employment agency).

Thank you very much for taking the time to share this important information. The number I was called from was 610-674-1636 this morning. Now I know what is going on. I did research first and thanks to your post, I realized it was WN is just another scam.

You'll need to watch your credit information.
Likely, with your phone number, your name, your birthdate, whether you are a US citizen, whether you are military, they can apply for certain things in your name. They'll use your phone number to get your address. They'll do a complete check of you on Facebook and other social media looking for clues about your life. And they'll wait a couple of months and then they'll start trying to steal your identity. "Chris" is not a human. Those long pauses are the speech-to-text processing in the Artificial Intelligence routine. Chris is a computer program. A very clever one.

said i contacted them online concerning employment opportunities and he needed some additional personal info. i asked him when i had done this and for what position had i applied for. he went back to repeat what he first said as if he were reading a prep-card as to what to say. alarms went off in my head saying "fisching scam...". he then said "well, you are unemployed,right?" i replied no and i didnt believe i needed his companies assistance. blew it off for awhile but something kept bugging me about it. HE KNEW MY NAME AND NUMBER! so i looked wn positions up on the internet and saw this . the # he called me from was (912)200-7978 Thank You and glad my company gave me the training to recognize this type of activity.

Caller claimed he worked for a job search agency and stated that I had filled out a form in an attempt to find a job. He asked if I was a U.S. citizen, what year I graduated from high school, if I was a student, and whether I had any loans in default. This is a scam! Do not answer these questions.

I recieved a call stating I applied for numerous positions online and he needed more info. Asked if I was a US Citizen, asked if I lived in the US, asked if I had a HS diploma, asked for highest education.
Then he said I qualify. By then I had looked him up on the internet and quickly hung up.
He is a scammer!!!

Have received numerous calls from the company which said I had inquired about a job online...NOT! The guy actually hung up on me when I asked who he was trying to reach because I hadn't had that particular cell phone number very long. When I called back, and pressed "1" to speak to someone, it was Joseph. I asked why he keeps calling, I've never inquired about a job, to quit calling, take my number off the list and once again, Joseph hung up on me. Am filing a complaint to the BBB.
