It was a live person I believe but I'm not sure as he was responding to me but also had a robotic type voice.
He hung up after I told him I wasn't comfortable telling him my birthdate,, then I called right back,, told him I was a bit pissed and he hung up again,, the third time it rejected my call

While they did not leave a message, I did call them back and found It is a career placement agency. A recording said I had recently inquired online about job opportunities (which is true). You can press 1 to speak to someone about positions or to be removed, you can press 9 and you will be asked to enter your phone number to be removed from their database. So I pressed 1 to see what it would do. i got one of those recordings that ask questions. They wanted to know my name, address, birthday - I wouldn't give the month & day, just the year & they hung up on me. At the beginning of the the questions, they said "Hi, Im Chris from Employment Group. I googled it. If you go to EmploymentGroup.com - it says "We apologize for those of you who are receiving robo-calls from a company named WN Positions. Please know that EmploymentGroup is in no way affiliated with WN Positions . . ." SO - THIS IS NOT A LEGIT CALLER!

You'll need to watch your credit information.
Likely, with your phone number, your name, your birthdate, whether you are a US citizen, whether you are military, they can apply for certain things in your name. They'll use your phone number to get your address. They'll do a complete check of you on Facebook and other social media looking for clues about your life. And they'll wait a couple of months and then they'll start trying to steal your identity. "Chris" is not a human. Those long pauses are the speech-to-text processing in the Artificial Intelligence routine. Chris is a computer program. A very clever one.

Then a few hours later they called me again and I had a whistle and the moment they started talking I blew it as hard as I could in the phone and they hung up, but then in a few minutes they called back and I did it again, I had fun. I missed a call from this number. Researched it on reverse phone lookup sites. One said it was a v.o.i.p number and the other said it was a cell phone. I called back and got a recording stating that I indicated online I wanted them to call me about jobs? Never heard of them. When I was prompted to speak to a rep I hung up. The phone number has a Pinellas county Florida prefix. having lived in Pinellas county once I know that many telemarketing scams set up shop there, including Suntasia Marketing which was shut down a few years ago by the FTC, It was one of the largest scams in history!

Ahhh, it's another number being used by our favorite recording voice Joseph. I've finally figured out how this system works (took a few calls back to figure it out) It's a guy listening in while Joseph is talking, filling out the information you're giving him (I got him (the human) on the phone once - but he quickly tried to get off) but for the responses, they use a sound board where the human clicks responses to whatever you say...pretty decent recording actually - but it was the long pauses in between that gave it away...I'm going to keep calling back till I get someone on the phone that's human again. I encourage you to do the same - they're human and they're listening in - talk to them...

Called the number back and WN positions answering says nothing about lower interest rates- it is a fradulent job hunt front- the person who I stayed on the line to speak with also hung up when I mentioned the interest rate lowering and being taken off the call list.

I called them back and told the caller that they might want to listen to what i have to say before they hang up on me. The caller then tried to talk over me. When he shut up i told him that i knew they were calling from New York and that i was calling the BBB on them and got hung p on again. More people need to report morons like this. My friend had his cell phone nuber hacked from a company like this and they took his cell number when they did it. So beware

Strange call. Caller claimed I filled in a survey when applying for a walmart card. I never shop there and have not applied for a card either. He indicated I was looking for a job and they wanted my profile information to help me find a job. Even if I didn't fill in the survey they would still like my profile data.

Just received call, from 510-722-6019 on my cell which I never give out, ever. I believe the voice was pre-recorded, but with semi-intelligent voice recognition directing the responses. They claimed to be WN Positions, but gave no URL and no response when I pressed for details about the company other than the WN Positions name, and no reply when I asked to be removed from their list, except to wish me well in my job search and hang up.

I did not file such a survey and last time I shopped at Walmart was 3 years ago. When I questioned the caller he said that his name was Josef Peters and the company's domain was www.wnpositions.com which does not exists.

I didn't recogize the number, and attempted to call it with the same results... "thank you calling WN Positions, we tried to reach you while you were online." FALSE!!! I'm going to report this to my carrier (Verizon) and also the FCC. Everyone else should do the same. This appears to be random robo-calling, don't know how else they would have my cell no.

Receiving multiple "Dead-Air" calls per day from 832-224-2823. I returned one call. Recorded message said the company name was" WN Positions" and I was on the internet and had requested a career position....lies! The recording continues to ask for a certain button to press if I wanted to speak with someone or press a certain button and enter my phone number to update their records, etc...I hung-up and filed complaint with the National and Texas No-Calls authorities. I searched internet for "WN Positions" as a company and found no company with that name. My Wireless provider was not interested with pursuing the caller fraud and harrassment but rather offered to sell me a product to block numbers with a free trial for 90 days. That is to say, "Let us profit from this illegal activity!"
