You see these telemarketers have to call as many numbers as possible so that it gets recorded in the telephone bill to convince their stupid bosses that they have met their targeted number of calls in the month in order to stay on the job. So if you don't pick up the phone, they will never call you again because your number is not picked up in their bill. But if you pick up the phone, they will hang-up and sometime later will keep calling you again so their stupid bosses will think that they are doing a follow-up on a potential customer. I have saved 19 of these numbers as con-men and chosen "silent" as the ringing tone, so the next time they call me my phone does not ring.
