Called about federal charges being brought against me and that if I don't call back, they will start collection proceedings. A scam!

He called and asked for $2000 in IRS owed taxes otherwise I have face arrest and other legal actions. Wanted money by debit card or cash card.

Received exactly the same nature of a call. Claimed to be from "Investigation Department". Threatened to "arrest me in 30 minutes" if I don't comply. It got funny at this point and I hung up.
I believe it is a criminal charge to pose as an FBI or similar. Maybe they are thinking to avoid it because they say "Investigation Department." No such thing exists.
