I received a call a few minutes ago. Picked up the phone, got no response, and decided to call back. Was connected to an "IRS agent" claiming to be Jessica. She had a thick Indian accent and asked for me by name. I told her that it was me speaking and asked what the nature of the problem was. As previously stated, I was given false warrant information and asked to pay nonsensical fees. Since the call had the smell of a scam from the very beginning, I asked to speak to a supervisor. When her "supervisor" turned out to be a man with a thick Indian accent, my hunches were confirmed. I ended the call and have since blocked the number through my provider (they were calling nonstop as I was doing so). These people are filth -- don't give them any personal information. I hope no one reading this has fallen prey to this scheme.

I got the same call. Brian Allen left me a message and when I called back a woman answered after a few failed attempts to call this number. At first it did not ring and then when someone picked up there was nobody on the other end. Speaking with this woman (also Indian accent) she said there was a mistake on tax return and they sent numerous documents but we never fixed anything so dept of homeland security was coming to arrest my husband. I immediately panicked because I have 4 children, 2 if which are 3 month old twins. She told me she will send a fax to the officer to see if she can stop them and they will contact me immediately. Some other guy called right away with a clean American accent and said we owe $1867.00 but if we pay $800 now we can hold it off until the weekend. That's when I knew it was a scam. I told him I'm not paying anything over the phone do he told me they were in the way to pick up my husband. I told him to come on over. LOSERS!!! Go get a real job instead of trying to rip everyone off!!

My in-laws just got a call from these people claiming to be an IRS official seeking to arrest them. It's total nonsense. We called the number back and the people were speaking Hindi to one another.
