The male who left a message on my cell phone claimed to be with IRS and he was doing an investigation into potential fraud. I have heard of this scam and erased the message. According to the news report I heard, IRS will never call you; a certified letter will be sent.

He cld. my cell no. I picked up and said "Hello". He said something like, "We're conducting an IRS investigation". I said, "About what?" He hung up. I called back, got him and he said he called the wrong number.
