They call to either claim to be from the irs saying you owe them money and in order to avoid jail you need to give them your bank account number; and sometimes they call saying you won a government grant for $8000 but the caller needs your account number to transfer the money. Caller was spoofing from a different number but he changed it to this one recently.

They called to say that my son won a government grant for $8000 and asked for his account number and info. When my son handed me the phone and I started questioning the caller, they hung up on me. Do not fall for this obvious scam!
