Two calls in a week to notify me that I'm being investigated by the IRS for tax fraud.
Sounded like two different callers but both with similar heavy accents. I hung up on both. The last time I talked to someone with the IRS he didn't sound like an illiterate from a third world country.

This guy called to say he was from the IRS and that the local sheriff had been contacted to arrest me unless I paid my back taxes; I was wanted by the US Gov't for tax evasion. This is a new scam since in the past they've said they're from the DEA. While I appreciate their creativity on this one, I still told him to enjoy prison when they get caught.
