Man with Indian accent told me that he was calling about reducing the interest on my credit cards. I asked who he worked for and he told me he worked with all the major credit card companies. I told he that I wanted him to remove me from their list and he hung up the phone. I called back and the number was not valid.

Been receiving multiple calls over the last few days from this number and a few others. I finally answered since i was getting annoyed and they wouldn't leave a message. Claimed to be with a visa, mastercard, discover, and Amex company and wanted to sign me on, to sell service to businesses. They were looking to fill the positions of 2 people in my are retiring. Said it would cost me $695 to join. When I asked for more details and could I think about it and how do I get back in touch with you they handed me off to another woman after saying, "here, I have someone here who is for talking to the thinkers" ... I told her I needed more information and didn't have my credit card on me if that is what she was looking for. She immediately hung up. Other numbers I've been getting calls from:773-945-5517 -IL, 438-804-4023- area unknown, 801-889-15217 -UT, 928-277-1324- Prescott, AZ ... and the call i just described was from Seattle, Washington.

Man with thick Asian Indian accent called claiming a credit application was accepted for my minor child. When I informed him this isn't the case; he told me that in order to cancel the application we would need put $50 on a prepaid debit card and then they could send it to the fraud devision, but if we don't...it will be our fault if my sons credit is ruined.
We reported them to the FTC.

Some man called from this number twice saying he was from a debt consolidation center, I asked him how he has this number when this number is not listed and asked him not to call again. This number showed up again on caller ID so I didn't answer the phone. How can we block these numbers from calling us???

THEY CALLED AND SAID THE WERE CALLING TO CONSOLIDATE MY CREDIT CARDS AND OTHER DEBTS INTO ONE, WHEN ASKED HOW THEY GOT NUMBER NO ANSWER, I ASKED THEM TO TAKE MY NUMBER OFF THERE PHONE LIST. HOW CAN PEOPLE GET A NON PUBLISHED NUMBER AND THE NUMBER ISN'T EVEN MINE?
